Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized the urgent necessity for unrestricted humanitarian aid access to Gaza, the release of hostages and prisoners, and opposed any efforts to displace Palestinians or restore Israeli military control over the region. They also urged the cessation of Israeli actions in the West Bank.According to State Information Service Egypt, these statements were made during a meeting in NEOM on Thursday, where both leaders committed to enhancing cooperation in various sectors, including investment, industrial integration, transport, renewable energy, and urban development. They agreed to expedite the establishment of the Egyptian-Saudi High Coordination Council as a strategic partnership platform.Additionally, Sisi and Bin Salman reviewed ongoing efforts towards achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and reiterated their support for a two-state solution. They highlighted the importance of coordination between Cairo and Riyadh to maintain regi onal stability and uphold the sovereignty of Middle Eastern states.
