Egypt Engages in Strategic Aviation Discussions at LACAC Meetings in Guatemala

Guatemala city: Minister of Civil Aviation, Samah El Hefny participated in the 12th Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC) in Guatemala City. In his speech during the meeting, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny expressed his deep appreciation for the efforts of the Latin American Civil Aviation Commission (LACAC) in enhancing joint cooperation and adopting initiatives that support the principles of safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the air transport industry.According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister of Civil Aviation also explained that LACAC's role is pivotal in aligning its regional initiatives with the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), which contributes to enhancing the efficiency and security of air transport at the regional and international levels.El-Hefny added that Egypt, aware of its international responsibilities, has been committed to implementing the highest international standards for civil aviation. Minister of Civil Aviation, Samah El Hefny noted that the Ministry took a strategic decision to keep Egyptian airspace open during exceptional times when some neighboring countries closed their airspace. This reflects the Egyptian state's commitment to maintaining air traffic and ensuring uninterrupted commercial flights, reflecting Egypt's leadership and ability to face challenges.
