Cairo: The Ministry of Youth and Sports, through its Central Administration for Youth Empowerment, recently organized a two-day workshop aimed at enhancing the skills of its staff in the area of international refugee protection.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the workshop was conducted in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The event focused on building the capacities of the ministry's employees to better understand and implement international protocols related to the protection of refugees.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to equip government staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to address the complexities of refugee issues. Participants engaged in various sessions that covered topics such as legal frameworks, rights of refugees, and effective communication strategies.
