Cairo: Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mahmoud Esmat engaged in discussions with representatives of Nexus Analytica to explore the application of advanced digital technologies for enhancing power grid management.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting focused on integrating the NexusGRID platform to facilitate digital transformation in network operations, planning, and management of power purchase agreements. This collaboration aims to improve efficiency, transparency, and attract investment in renewable energy.

Esmat emphasized the electricity sector’s commitment to expanding the use of digital tools for monitoring energy data, assessing renewable projects, and enhancing production efficiency in alignment with the national energy strategy. He noted ongoing efforts to upgrade the unified grid, transition to smart systems across generation, transmission, and distribution, and increase reliance on renewable energy to ensure a stable electricity supply.
