Solidarity Minister and Prosecutor General Witness Signing of Cooperation Protocols

Cairo: Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi and Prosecutor General Mohamed Shawky witnessed the signing of two cooperation protocols between the Ministry of Social Solidarity, its affiliated bodies, and the Public Prosecution to enhance bilateral cooperation.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the first protocol was signed between the Public Prosecution and Nasser Social Bank Family Insurance System Fund. This protocol aims to preserve public funds and Egyptian family rights while supporting swift justice through digital transformation and electronic archiving. It seeks to link state systems for automated data transfer to save time and resources while ensuring maximum governance and judicial prosecution.

The second protocol, signed between the Ministry, the Public Prosecution, "Differently Abled" Fund, and Orange Egypt, aims to enable persons with disabilities to access electronic prosecution services easily and at reduced costs, including providing free SIM cards for talented individuals.

Morsi expressed her appreciation for the Public Prosecution as a fortress of rights, noting that this second meeting in a week follows the inauguration of child-friendly rooms. She stated that the new protocols provide disabled people and Egyptian women with streamlined and efficient procedures. Morsi asserted that the protocol with Nasser Social Bank ends the suffering of thousands of mothers and children in pursuing their basic rights.

She highlighted that digital integration ensures swift access to entitlements and sends a decisive message that family rights are protected by law without delay. Regarding the second protocol, she stated it breaks barriers for the disabled by providing digital access and free SIM cards in cooperation with Orange. This allows one-touch access to services at half the cost, affirming that disability will not hinder constitutional rights in Egypt.

The minister added that the integration of social efforts, legal protection, and private sector partnership creates an impenetrable protective shield and a safety net for a decent and safe life.
