Bir al-abd: Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly attended the inauguration of the Sinai Plastics Industries Company's new factory in the industrial zone of Bir al-Abd City. This event took place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, marking a significant milestone in the region's industrial development.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister's visit to North Sinai Governorate was part of a broader initiative to inspect various development projects. Dr. Madbouly was joined by a ministerial delegation and Governor Khaled Megawer during his visit.

Additionally, the Prime Minister reviewed the ongoing efforts to upgrade the road connecting Triangle Checkpoint, Ghalbana, and Balouza. This 20-kilometer stretch is being developed under the presidential initiative "Decent Life," which is implemented by the Ministry of Transport.
