Geneva: Minister of Labor, Mr. Hassan Raddad, met with the Minister of Labor of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Yousef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, during the 114th session of the International Labour Conference in Geneva, Switzerland. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Bahrain in labor, employment, and human resources development.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the two ministers emphasized the strong relations between Egypt and Bahrain and their mutual interest in advancing cooperation in labor-related fields. They discussed strategies for developing labor markets and preparing human resources to align with global changes.
Minister Hassan Raddad highlighted Egypt's efforts in evolving its labor and vocational training systems, implementing skills development programs, and aligning youth qualifications with labor market demands. He also shared updates on labor legislation aimed at fostering a decent work environment and supporting sustainable development initiatives.
The meeting also explored potential collaboration in vocational training, employment policy exchange, digital transformation in labor services, and youth skills development. The ministers discussed strengthening social protection for workers and sharing successful experiences in addressing challenges arising from rapid labor market changes.
