Cairo: Chairman of the Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) and General Supervisor of the Universal Health Insurance Project Ahmed Sobky witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the EHA and Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank - Egypt (ADCB). The protocol is designed to enhance financial and technological services within the medical and administrative facilities affiliated with the Authority.According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement entails the installation of ATMs and electronic payment (POS) machines in the medical and administrative facilities of the Authority. Additionally, the bank will organize workshops and training programs to qualify staff on operational mechanisms. The protocol also seeks to boost participation in conferences and scientific activities as part of corporate social responsibility efforts.Sobky stated that this partnership is aligned with the EHA's strategy to collaborate with major banking institutions and provide innovative solutions that support digital transformation in the health sector. This initiative aims to achieve ease and flexibility in service delivery to citizens. He noted that the protocol supports the provision of advanced banking and technological solutions, contributing to an improved patient experience and facilitating financial transactions for visitors to the facilities. This move is in line with Egypt's Vision 2030 to enhance both health and financial services.
