New alamein: Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Minister Badr Abdelatty met on Sunday, August 17th, 2025, with Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa in the city of New Alamein in Egypt's North Coast, the foreign ministry said.

According to State Information Service Egypt, ministry spokesman Tamim Khallaf in a post on X, Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt's continued efforts to secure a Gaza ceasefire, ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid, and prepare for an early recovery and reconstruction conference in Cairo once a ceasefire is reached.
