Sheikh Sabah expressed gratitude for Egypt's support, appreciating its role in maintaining Gulf and Arab security. The talks also addressed regional developments and the newly announced ceasefire between the US and Iran, which Abdelatty described as a significant step toward restoring calm.
The foreign minister emphasized the need for Egyptian-Kuwaiti coordination to manage tensions and pursue diplomatic solutions, warning against potential regional instability. Discussions on post-war security arrangements were urged, stressing the protection of Gulf and Arab state sovereignty and resources.
