Egypt and Kuwait Discuss Strategies to Enhance Bilateral Relations

Kuwait city: Egypt's ambassador to Kuwait, Mohamed Aboulwafa, engaged in discussions with Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, Shereeda al-Maousherji, on Thursday, April 30, 2026. The meeting focused on strengthening relations between the two countries across various sectors and addressing issues of mutual interest.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the talks took place at Seif Palace and included Egypt's Deputy Chief of Mission at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait, Ambassador Noura Abdel Hady. During the meeting, Maousherji emphasized the longstanding ties between Kuwait and Egypt, expressing Kuwait's dedication to maintaining coordination with Egypt to boost strategic bilateral cooperation.

Ambassador Aboulwafa recognized the robust relations between the two nations, stressing the importance of collaboration in tackling current challenges. The discussions highlighted both countries' commitment to fostering a closer partnership in key areas of mutual concern.
