Egypt and Japan Collaborate to Enhance Educational Systems in Schools

Cairo: Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdel Latif recently met with a delegation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to explore utilizing the Japanese educational model to improve the quality of education in Egyptian-Japanese schools.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdel Latif emphasized that the partnership between the Ministry of Education and Technical Education and JICA is crucial in advancing the education sector. This collaboration facilitates the exchange of expertise, enhances the educational process, and aims to construct a modern education framework that aligns with student needs and future demands.

The Minister highlighted the ministry's commitment to intensifying cooperation with JICA to reform the education system by implementing international best practices, which are expected to improve student performance. He also discussed the success of Egyptian-Japanese schools and expressed the ministry's intention to expand these institutions nationwide.

Members of the JICA delegation expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by the Egyptian Ministry in advancing the education system. They recognized the Egyptian-Japanese educational model as an exemplary form of international cooperation and lauded the progress in implementing 'Tokkatsu' activities within these schools.

The meeting also focused on enhancing continuous cooperation in various educational development areas, discussing strategies to improve the academic year structure in Egyptian-Japanese schools, which would contribute to a more effective educational experience and better teaching quality in classrooms.

Both parties agreed to maintain coordination and collaborative efforts to maximize the benefits of the Japanese educational approach and support Egypt's pursuit of high-quality education.
