EPROM Signs Strategic Deals with Global, Regional Firms at EGYPS 2026

Cairo: CEO of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) Salah Abdel Kerim witnessed the signing and renewal of several strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) by the Egyptian Projects Operation and Maintenance (EPROM) with leading global and regional companies. This took place on the sidelines of the second day of the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition - EGYPS 2026.According to State Information Service Egypt, these agreements are part of EPROM's strategy to strengthen partnerships, manage asset integrity and reliability, support energy efficiency plans, improve operational performance, and develop human resources in the petroleum and energy sector. The deals include a one-year contract renewal with Agiba Petroleum Company for operation and maintenance at the Maliha gas station, which has a capacity of 20 million cubic feet per day, ensuring efficient operations in line with high performance and safety standards.A trilateral MoU was also signed involving EPROM, Technip Energies, and MIDOR to expand cooperation in energy efficiency and accelerate digital transformation. This initiative aims at enhancing performance and reducing the carbon footprint at the MIDOR refinery. Additionally, an MoU with Cenosco focuses on asset integrity management, inspection, and reliability management solutions via the EGPC.Furthermore, an MoU with Weatherford aims to improve production efficiency and maximize resource utilization through advanced technological solutions, thereby enhancing operational performance and supporting sustainability. EPROM also signed a memo with Diverse Supplies, Authorized Agent for Armstrong International, to enhance energy efficiency and thermal system performance, optimizing consumption and raising operational efficiency.Moreover, an agreement with Orcan Energy AG involves applying Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technology in the oil and gas sector to maximize the recovery of waste energy and convert it into useful power, promoting operational efficiency and sustainability. An MoU was also renewed with IFP Training to cooperate in training and qualification, supporting human resource development and upskilling in accordance with the latest international standards in the energy sector, with professional training to be conducted within Saudi Arabia.Through these agreements and strategic collaborations, EPROM reaffirms its role as a trusted partner to Egypt's petroleum and energy sector, committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, enhancing operational efficiency, and actively contributing to energy transition efforts, asset integrity management, and reliability management across all its projects.
