EMC and Russian Companies Explore Cooperation Opportunities at Egypt Energy Show

Cairo: Chairman of the Egyptian Maintenance Company (EMC) Mohsen Kotb conducted a joint working meeting with representatives from Russian companies, alongside the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) and the Russian Chamber of Commerce, during the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES 2026). The meeting focused on exploring potential avenues for collaboration in Egypt's petroleum sector.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting, held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, provided a platform for discussing the technological capabilities and technical solutions offered by the Russian companies. These solutions cover various industrial and technological specializations applicable to projects within Egypt's petroleum industry.

The discussions included topics such as joint cooperation, exchange of expertise, and technology transfer. These initiatives aim to support the development of the sector's infrastructure and improve the efficiency of operation and maintenance processes, aligning with the ongoing modernization and development plans in Egypt's petroleum sector.

Participants highlighted the significance of maximizing cooperation opportunities between Egyptian and international companies to enhance investment attraction, localize modern technology, and support Egypt's vision to advance the energy sector. This vision aims to position Egypt as a regional hub for energy trading and circulation.
