Egypt Engages in Four-Nation Dialogue on Regional Stability

Islamabad: Egypt's Assistant Foreign Minister for Policy Planning, Research, Crisis Management, and Assessments, Nazih El-Nagari, participated in a significant meeting in Islamabad, representing Minister of Foreign Affairs Badr Abdelatty. The meeting brought together senior officials from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Turkey to deliberate on regional developments and strategies to restore stability.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions underscored the importance of adhering to international principles such as respect for state sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-interference in internal affairs, and the right of peoples to self-determination. These principles were highlighted as essential for achieving lasting security and stability in the region.

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, welcomed the senior officials of the four nations. He engaged in discussions about the latest regional developments and shared Islamabad's efforts to ease tensions between the United States and Iran. Furthermore, the talks explored ways to advance de-escalation efforts, manage the situation effectively, and restore peace and stability across the region.
