Dahab: Around 1000 runners took part in the Dahab Half Marathon, marking the eleventh edition of the event organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports. This year was notable for featuring a 21-kilometer half-marathon for the first time in Dahab city.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the events were organized by the “Cairo Runner” team and saw participation from about 1,000 competitors representing 30 different nationalities. This diverse turnout highlights Egypt’s rising prominence in the realm of international sporting events.

The marathon is part of the tourism agenda and the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ strategic plan to host significant local and international events.
