Cairo: Karim Badawi, the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, engaged in discussions on Tuesday with Mostafa El Gabaly, CEO of Polyserve for Fertilizers and Chemicals, focusing on expediting the start of a new phosphate project. This initiative, spearheaded by Polyserve, aims to extract, process, and utilize phosphate for the production of phosphate fertilizers and phosphoric acid.According to State Information Service Egypt, Badawi expressed the ministry's commitment to aiding both Egyptian and foreign private sector investors in swiftly executing their projects. He highlighted the Ministry's focus on fostering investment within the Egyptian private sector to exploit and process phosphate, thereby increasing its added value.Polyserve, since its establishment in 1990 as a private international trading company, has expanded its reach into markets in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. While the company's primary business revolves around fertilizer trading, it enhances its operations through ad ditional services such as stevedoring, bulk handling and storage, inland transportation, local distribution, and bulk blending.
