According to State Information Service Egypt, the endorsement came during an official high-level tour on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, where President Minnikhanov and his delegation were received by Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy. Joined by GEM CEO Ahmed Ghoneim, the minister accompanied the visiting dignitaries through the sprawling complex to showcase Egypt's latest achievements in cultural preservation and display.
