Cairo: Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhi held a meeting with a group of Egyptian investors to explore the formation of a specialized partnership in the sports industry. During the meeting, the minister explained that the proposed partnership aims to manufacture a broad range of sports-related products, particularly artificial turf and its components, to strengthen Egypt's self-sufficiency in the sector and reduce reliance on foreign currency.According to State Information Service Egypt, the participants presented several innovative ideas and expressed a strong commitment to localizing the production of artificial turf in accordance with international quality standards, while maintaining competitive pricing in the local market.Sobhi also asserted Egypt's capability to scale up local manufacturing in other sectors of the sports industry, thereby strengthening national self-reliance and generating more jobs for Egyptians.
