Ministry of Health: Developing Medical Services in New Alamein City

Accra: Ministry of Health and Population continues to develop medical services in New Alamein City by enhancing the efficiency of Alamein Model Hospital, which has become one of the most prominent modern medical facilities on the North Coast. This comes as part of the state's plan to transform the city into an integrated hub for medical tourism and advanced healthcare services.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the hospital provides comprehensive medical services year-round, including emergency and reception services, outpatient clinics, dialysis, radiology, and laboratory services, in addition to a range of medical and surgical specialties supported by the latest medical equipment and technologies.

The hospital has witnessed an improvement in performance indicators and the quality of services provided to citizens and visitors to the North Coast, with all medical services available around the clock. It includes specialized medical teams operating 24/7, in addition to advanced diagnostic and treatment units that rely on the latest digital transformation and medical automation technologies.

The hospital also features MRI and radiology equipment powered by artificial intelligence, contributing to faster and more accurate diagnoses and improving the overall quality of healthcare services. Furthermore, the hospital has introduced several advanced medical services, including a specialized facial aesthetics clinic, the first of its kind within Ministry of Health hospitals.

This development comes alongside the expansion of home healthcare and specialized treatment services, supporting the state's efforts to provide a comprehensive model of modern healthcare. The Ministry of Health aims to transform Alamein Model Hospital into a regional center for medical tourism through expanded partnerships and the development of advanced healthcare projects. This initiative aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030 to strengthen the country's position as a global destination for healthcare and medical tourism.
