Cairo: Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, Alaa Farouk, is actively overseeing land protection operations to prevent and remove encroachments resulting from unplanned urban expansion on agricultural lands during the Eid al-Adha holiday. The minister is prioritizing these efforts to ensure the preservation of vital agricultural spaces.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Alaa Farouk has highlighted the continuous efforts of engineers and supervisors dedicated to safeguarding agricultural land from illegal construction activities throughout the holiday period. The minister has emphasized the necessity of maintaining regular patrols to monitor and promptly eliminate any violations. Additionally, he confirmed that any individuals found in violation of land protection regulations will be reported to the relevant authorities for appropriate legal action.
