Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Salah Soliman Gomblat engaged in discussions with a delegation from India's 'Parason' company to explore avenues for bolstering strategic cooperation across several manufacturing sectors.According to State Information Service Egypt, the meeting aligns with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's directives to foster new partnerships with international companies, thereby supporting local manufacturing, infrastructure advancement, and sustainable development objectives. Held at the Ministry of Military Production headquarters in Al-Salam city, the meeting underscored the growing economic and military ties between Egypt and India.Gomblat highlighted the recent progress in Egyptian-Indian relations and discussed the enhancement of manufacturing capabilities within military production firms. He showcased the technological and industrial assets available within the ministry's affiliated companies, emphasizing that access to advanced manufacturing technologies is key to ongoing modernization efforts.Representatives from India's 'Parason Advanced Systems' praised Egypt's industrial strengths and voiced their enthusiasm for deepening the strategic partnership with the Ministry of Military Production. They expressed interest in exchanging expertise and achieving greater integration between the two sides.The Indian delegation outlined potential collaboration areas, particularly with the Abu Zaabal Specialized Chemicals Company, known as Military Factory 18. The focus would be on transferring advanced manufacturing technologies for chemical production, boosting production capacity, and optimizing operational efficiency.The meeting also saw the attendance of Tarek Bakheet, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the National Organization for Military Production.
