Kuwaiti Airlift Dispatches Eighth Plane with Aid for Gaza

Kuwait City: The eighth plane from the second Kuwaiti airlift has taken off, carrying 10 tons of aid intended to relieve the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. This flight is part of the humanitarian effort titled "Kuwait by Your Side," which aims to support Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The plane departed for El-Arish Airport in Egypt, from where the food aid will be delivered to Gaza.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, these relief efforts are part of the "Fazza for Gaza" campaign, organized by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) with the collaboration of Kuwaiti charitable organizations. This initiative is coordinated with the Ministries of Social Affairs, Foreign Affairs, and Defense, with logistical support from the Kuwaiti Air Force.

Khaled Al-Mughamis, Chairman of the KRCS, emphasized before the plane's departure that this mission represents Kuwait's commitment to charitable and humanitarian causes. The aid initiative follows the directives of Kuwait's leadership, including His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.

The total aid delivered as part of this second airlift, which began on August 10, has reached 110 tons of essential food supplies. This effort is coordinated with the Kuwait Flour Mills and Bakeries Company to ensure the effective delivery of aid to those in need.
