FM Congratulates Hungary’s Foreign Minister-Designate on Election Victory


Cairo: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty held phone talks on Saturday with Hungary’s foreign minister-designate Anita Orban to congratulate her on her party’s success in the recent Hungarian parliamentary elections.



According to State Information Service Egypt, Abdelatty expressed gratitude for the advancement in relations between Egypt and Hungary. He emphasized the importance of working together to enhance cooperation in political, economic, trade, and investment sectors, aligning with the mutual political interests of both nations.



During the conversation, the ministers discussed various regional and international issues, signaling a commitment to continued collaboration. Both officials expressed a shared desire to maintain coordination and consultations aimed at bolstering bilateral ties and supporting regional and international security and stability.
