Cairo: The Egyptian Institute of Diplomatic Studies signed a memorandum of understanding with the Diplomatic Academy of Mauritania's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Cairo.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the agreement aims to strengthen ties and cooperation between the two countries, focusing on academic exchanges. The deal follows the outcomes of the Egypt-Mauritania Joint Committee session held in May, underscoring the Egyptian foreign ministry's efforts to enhance collaboration and share expertise in diplomatic and academic fields.

The institute will provide training programs and academic activities for Mauritanian diplomatic staff, marking a significant step in the bilateral relations between Egypt and Mauritania.
