Antalya: Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty met with his Algerian counterpart Ahmed Attaf on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The meeting aimed at enhancing Egypt-Algeria relations and exploring ways to expand cooperation in economic, trade, and investment sectors.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the discussions built on the outcomes of the latest joint committee session held in Cairo. Both ministers exchanged views on regional developments, emphasizing Libya as a shared priority. They highlighted the importance of continued coordination and regular consultations, specifically through maintaining meetings of the mechanism for Libya’s neighboring countries.
The two sides reached a consensus on the necessity of ongoing coordination regarding regional issues. They expressed a mutual interest in further developing bilateral relations to serve both nations’ interests effectively.
