Manila: Egyptian Awqaf Minister Osama Al-Azhari attended the closing ceremony of the 51st National Quran Memorization and Recitation Competition in Manila, alongside Egypt's Ambassador to the Philippines, Nader Zaki. The event marked the conclusion of a prestigious competition where the results were officially announced, and winners were honored.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the competition this year was themed 'the Qur'an: Light and Guidance for the Nation.' A total of 35 finalists, comprising 17 female and 18 male contestants from various regions across the Philippines, showcased their memorization and recitation skills in the final rounds. The minister had the honor of presenting the awards to the top winners in both the female and male categories, recognizing their exceptional achievements in Quranic recitation and memorization.
