Damietta: As many as 20 container and cargo ships were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours, the Damietta Port Authority said in a statement on Friday 29/8/2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the port successfully managed the arrival and departure of these vessels, demonstrating its operational capabilities. The handling of such a number of ships indicates the port's strategic importance in maritime trade and logistics.
