Cairo: Minister of Youth and Sports Goher Nabil received the president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepe, upon his arrival at Cairo International Airport. The welcoming ceremony took place in the presence of the President of the Egyptian Football Association, Hany Abou Rida.

According to State Information Service Egypt, during the meeting, Motsepe conveyed a message of thanks and appreciation from South African President Cyril Ramaphosa to President Abdel Fattah El Sisi. Ramaphosa commended Egypt’s significant efforts in African and international affairs.

The CAF President’s visit to Egypt, which hosts the CAF headquarters, is part of his attendance at a meeting of the CAF Executive Committee.
