President El-Sisi Issues Law Regulating State Ownership in Companies

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has issued Law No. 170 of 2025 regulating provisions related to state ownership in companies that are fully state-owned or those in which the state holds shares. The law was published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the new legislation aims to streamline the management and operation of companies in which the state has a stake.
