President El-Sisi Hosts Finnish President Alexander Stubb at Al-Ittihadiya Palace

Cairo: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace during an official visit to Egypt.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the reception ceremony featured an honor guard salute, the playing of national anthems, and a commemorative photograph session. The meeting progressed into a bilateral discussion between the two Presidents, followed by an expanded session with delegations from both countries. President El-Sisi also hosted a luncheon in honor of the Finnish President and his delegation.

President El-Sisi expressed Egypt's appreciation for its relationship with Finland and highlighted the need for continued collaboration across political, economic, and trade sectors. President Stubb, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and emphasized Finland's commitment to deepening bilateral ties. He underscored the importance of consulting on regional and international issues and highlighted opportunities for Finnish businesses in Egypt. The visit concluded with a joint press conference between the two leaders.
