Premier League Stars Shine on International Duty Across 59 Countries

London: All 20 Premier League clubs saw their players in action during the international break, with representatives from 59 different countries showcasing their skills on the global stage. The performances ranged from scoring debut goals to unfortunately picking up injuries.

According to BBC, Aston Villa had 11 players on international duty, with Poland's Matty Cash scoring a late equaliser against the Netherlands and netting again in Poland's 3-1 victory over Finland. Despite coming off injured, reports suggest Cash's injury is not severe. Belgium's Youri Tielemans scored twice in a 6-0 victory over Liechtenstein, while England's Ezri Konsa celebrated his first international goal in a 5-0 win over Serbia.

Bournemouth's contingent of 13 players included Antoine Semenyo, who was unable to find the net for Ghana but still earned praise from coach Otto Addo. Brentford saw their record summer signing, Dango Ouattara, score twice in Burkina Faso's 6-0 win over Djibouti. Mikkel Damsgaard contributed to Denmark's 3-0 win over Greece, while England's Jordan Henderson played sparingly.

Brighton's Yakuba Minteh scored for Gambia in a win over Kenya, while fellow winger Kaoru Mitoma was rested for Japan's match against the USA. Goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen featured prominently for the Netherlands, and Carlos Baleba appeared for Cameroon. Chelsea's Marc Cucurella scored in Spain's 3-0 win over Bulgaria, and Reece James contributed to England's success against Andorra.

Crystal Palace had 12 players on international duty, while Everton's Jordan Pickford maintained his streak with successive clean sheets for England. Fulham's Calvin Bassey scored his debut goal for Nigeria, and Raul Jimenez found the net for Mexico. Leeds United's Dan James played a full match against Canada and came off the bench in a win over Kazakhstan.

Liverpool saw Alexander Isak make his first appearance for Sweden after a transfer saga. Mohamed Salah scored for Egypt, and Manchester City's Erling Haaland had an impressive outing for Norway. Manchester United's Benjamin Sesko played extensively for Slovenia, while Newcastle United's Yoane Wissa shone for DR Congo.
