Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli reaffirmed the importance of continuing efforts to inventory and document the various assets and properties of the General Authority of Awqaf (endowments), with the goal of optimizing their use and maximizing returns. This, he emphasized, would contribute to the optimal investment and management of these assets, added Madbouli.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the prime minister's statements were made at a meeting with Minister of Awqaf Osama el Azhari to review several key issues related to the ministry's work, foremost among them the efforts of the ministry and the authority in managing endowment assets and properties.
During the meeting, Azhari reviewed the efforts being made to inventory and document the assets managed by the authority, and the ongoing cooperation and coordination with several relevant state entities to ensure a comprehensive and accurate record of all assets.
These efforts include the creation of cadastral and digital maps, the official registration and validation of the properties, and safeguarding them from any transactions outside the authority, he added.
