PM Inspects Historic Cairo Revitalization Projects

Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli embarked on an inspection tour to oversee the progress of various projects focused on the revitalization of Cairo's historic districts.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the Prime Minister was joined by Minister of Local Development Manal Awad, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities Sherif el Sherbiny, and Governor of Cairo Ibrahim Saber Khalil. Also present were Head of the National Organization for Urban Harmony Mohamed Abu Saada, Head of the Central Agency for Reconstruction Mahmoud Nassar, Chairman of Arab Contractors Ahmed el Assar, Country Director for UN-Habitat Egypt Ahmed Rezk, and other senior officials from the housing and local development ministries, as well as the Cairo governorate and relevant bodies.

Prime Minister Madbouli emphasized that the tour demonstrates the government's commitment to maintaining close oversight of state projects aimed at restoring and revitalizing Cairo's historic areas. This initiative aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to preserve the city's unique architectural and heritage character.
