PM: Egypt Committed to Sustained Delivery of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

Cairo: Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli reiterated on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 Egypt's commitment to the continued delivery of humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza, saying the country is exerting a dual effort, sending truck convoys through the Karem Abu Salem crossing and conducting airdrops in coordination with several other nations.

According to State Information Service Egypt, humanitarian aid trucks are still entering through the border crossing, while thousands of tons of humanitarian aid are still waiting near the crossing to complete the procedures for their entry to the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking at a press conference following the weekly cabinet meeting at its headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, the premier pointed to the meeting between President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Vietnamese counterpart during which he highlighted ongoing Egyptian efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.
