Palestinian President Calls for Accountability Over Israeli Attacks at Arab-Islamic Summit

Doha: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has reaffirmed his nation's solidarity with Qatar amidst the ongoing Israeli aggression, calling for Israel to be held accountable for its actions. In a powerful address at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit in Doha, Abbas emphasized the unity among Arab and Islamic countries, stating that an attack on one is an attack on all, affecting their shared security.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, President Abbas expressed his condemnation of the Israeli attacks, urging the international community to take responsibility and implement measures to prevent further aggression. He highlighted the necessity for practical and deterrent actions against Israel's repeated offenses against Arab and Islamic nations.

In his remarks, Abbas also conveyed appreciation for the initiatives of countries attending the international peace conference in New York, co-chaired by France and Saudi Arabia. He acknowledged their efforts in garnering increased international recognition for the State of Palestine and in mobilizing support for its quest for freedom and independence.
