Manama: Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Personal Representative of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, has expressed concerns over the Israeli aggression against Qatar, stating it poses a threat to regional stability and undermines peace efforts in the context of the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, Sheikh Abdullah delivered these remarks at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit. He emphasized that Qatar, alongside Egypt and the United States, has been actively working towards achieving a permanent ceasefire and facilitating the release of hostages and detainees.
Sheikh Abdullah called on Arab and Islamic nations to show solidarity with Qatar. He urged them to unify their stance and intensify efforts to urge the international community to meet its responsibilities in resolving the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in line with international law and the United Nations Charter.
