Cairo: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah el Din Mostafa conducted an unannounced inspection tour of the Shubra Company for Engineering Industries, also known as Military Factory 27, to evaluate the progress of production processes and ensure the adherence to ministerial directives given during previous visits.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the Minister commenced his tour by examining the production lines at Factory 27, which include facilities for metal parts and alloy manufacturing. He also assessed the modern ammunition production lines that are expected to commence production within the current fiscal year. The inspection also covered the company's warehouses, where the Minister reviewed storage practices and verified the execution of monthly and annual inventory procedures.
During the visit, Minister Mostafa received a detailed presentation from Tarek Bakhit, the Board Chairman of the Shubra Company for Engineering Industries. Bakhit provided insights into the company's production and performance rates over recent periods, sales volume, and future production and marketing strategies. The presentation also included an overview of the inventory status and production requirements, offering a comprehensive picture of the factory's operational effectiveness.
