Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Explores Strategic Partnership with UAE’s Fujairah

Cairo: Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Karim Badawi, held discussions with Mohammed Saeed Al Dhanhani, Director of Fujairah's Diwan Al Amiri, aimed at enhancing cooperation and strengthening the strategic partnership between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. This meeting took place on Monday, August 4th, 2025, and focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in various development and investment fields.

According to State Information Service Egypt, both parties examined bilateral relations and identified opportunities for joint initiatives in different sectors. The discussions were part of a broader effort to bolster Egypt's position as a regional energy hub.

In the meeting, Badawi emphasized the significance of the collaboration, highlighting the mutual benefits of enhanced cooperation. Al Dhanhani, representing the directives of Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, underscored the importance of improving service levels, aligning with sustainable development goals, and fostering future progress between the two nations.
