Cairo: Egypt has dispatched the first aid convoy to Gaza after the start of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel on Friday, 10/10/2025.

According to State Information Service Egypt, the national coordination body for aid delivery to Gaza, the convoy entering through the Karm Abu Salem crossing is carrying 1,600 tonnes of urgent aid, including flour, food supplies, and medical and relief materials.

Under the ceasefire agreement, 400-600 aid trucks are expected to enter the Gaza Strip daily. Last week, Egyptian bulldozers started clearing rubble to expand displacement camps in central Gaza.
