Cairo: The Awqaf Ministry has launched the national initiative "Correct Your Concepts" under the patronage of Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, aimed at promoting moderate religious thought and addressing harmful societal behaviors, ministry spokesperson Osama Raslan said on Monday, September 22, 2025.According to State Information Service Egypt, Raslan stated that the initiative was developed in coordination with over 15 ministries, national councils, and research centers after identifying 40,000 negative social behaviors. He emphasized the importance of countering extremism through logic, dialogue, and trusted religious, ethical, and scientific references.The initiative features school and university outreach teams, media engagement, and digital content delivered through the ministry's platform. Additionally, religious scholars, including female preachers, will make appearances across various media outlets to engage with the public.Raslan noted that the campaign is part of Egypt's broader human develop ment strategy and aligns with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives to build a resilient and enlightened society.
