Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa stressed on Friday the importance of the summer program for children to educate them and understand moderate Islam.
Gomaa’s remarks came during his meeting with Qalyoubia Governor Abdel Hamid el Haggan and officials of the Awqaf Directorate in Qalyoubia.
They inspected two tons of meat set to be distributed to the most-needy families in the governorate.
Haggan, for his part, lauded the Awqaf Ministry’s efforts in serving society.
