AWIU Stresses Role of Egyptian Government in Arab-African Investment Conference

Cairo: President of the Arab Women Investors Union (AWIU), Hoda Yassa, emphasized the crucial role of Egyptian ministries and investment and economic bodies in the upcoming 28th Arab-African Investment and International Cooperation Conference. The conference is set to be organized by AWIU from October 19 to 22 in Egypt.

According to State Information Service Egypt, Yassa stated that the participation of these government bodies would inspire confidence among delegations from Arab and African countries, BRICS members, and other partner states. She noted that the Egyptian government's involvement demonstrates its commitment to fostering partnerships with the private sector and achieving the "triangle of success." This framework serves as a strong motivator for forming investment and trade partnerships.

Yassa pointed out the significant role that partnerships between the state, civil society, and the private sector play in supporting economic and social development. She highlighted the keen interest of delegations to attend the conference in Egypt, despite regional challenges, to gain insights into Egypt's investment climate and national investment map. This interest extends to establishing direct investments or promoting trade exchanges.

Additionally, Yassa noted that the involvement of Egyptian government representatives from various ministries and investment and economic institutions is essential in attracting delegations to projects in Egypt.
