Cairo: Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli announced that the National Strategy of 2025-2032 serves as a roadmap to enhance the role of youth as active participants in the development process. In a recorded speech delivered during the launch ceremony of the National Youth and Sports Strategy 2025-2032, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the prime minister emphasized the government's commitment, under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's directives, to prioritizing the youth and sports sectors. These sectors are seen as pivotal in building a modern state, shaping generational awareness, and driving economic and social progress.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the strategy was prepared by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with the Ministerial Group for Human Development, various relevant ministries, United Nations organizations, the private sector, and civil society. It serves as a clear roadmap to enhance the role of youth as active participants in the development process and aims to maximize the role of sports as a form of soft power and a source of national income.
Addressing the youth and athletes of Egypt, Madbouli expressed his pleasure in participating remotely in the launch of the country's first-ever national strategy for the youth and sports sector. He stated that the strategy is part of the State's comprehensive efforts to achieve sustainable human development, with a central focus on empowering the Egyptian people, particularly the youth, coinciding with International Youth Day.
