Two Palestinians killed, five others injured in Israeli airstrike on Gaza city

Two Palestinians were killed and at least five others were injured in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a residential apartment in al-Nasser neighborhood to the west of Gaza city, according to sources. Local sources said that two bodies were pulled from under the rubble of the targeted apartment. In a related matter, medical sources of the Indonesia Hospital, north of the Strip, confirmed that a man arrived at the hospital with an injury he sustained in an Israeli airstrike that targeted an agricultural land in the town of Beit Lahiya to the north. This brings the number of Palestinians killed since the beginning of Israeli air attacks on Gaza on Tuesday to 33.

Today, temperatures in Amman would hit a high of 28, dropping to 11C at night, while the port city of Aqaba would see a fair 35C, sliding to 20C during night hours.

Palestinian succumbs to wounds in Israeli air strikes in Gaza

A Palestinian civilian Friday succumbed to wounds he had sustained in the Israeli air strikes on the northern Gaza Strip. The Ministry expressed its “hope” that the agreement and the humanitarian obligations to protect civilians and uphold the international humanitarian law is a “first step to be followed by other steps that contribute to the return of security and stability to brotherly Sudan.”

Saudi, US announce Sudan commitment declaration to protect civilians in Sudan

Saudi Arabia and the US Friday announced that representatives of the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces had signed Thursday in Jeddah a declaration of commitment to protect civilians in Sudan. The declaration obliges the conflicting parties in Sudan under international humanitarian law and human rights law to promote humanitarian action to meet the needs of civilians. The declaration would urge its signatories to enable the safe delivery of humanitarian aid, restore “basic” services, withdraw forces from hospitals and clinics and allow the dead to be buried, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The ensuing Jeddah talks would focus on reaching an agreement on an “effective” ceasefire for up to ten days to implement the declaration’s commitments.

Saudi completes evacuations from troubled Sudan

Saudi Arabia Friday announced that it had completed its evacuations campaign from troubled Sudan. The Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that the humanitarian evacuations carried out by Saudi Arabia included 8,455 people, including 404 Saudis and 8,051 non-Saudis, who were evacuated by a group of Royal Saudi Navy ships and Royal Saudi Air Force planes.
