Cairo: The Ministry of Health and Population announced that more than 77 million free medical services have been delivered in the first 53 days of the "100 Days of Health" campaign, which commenced on July 15, 2025. The announcement was made on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, highlighting the campaign's significant impact across the state.
According to State Information Service Egypt, the initiative was launched under the directives of Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, with the primary goal of enhancing healthcare services nationwide. Health Ministry Spokesman Hossam Abdel Ghaffar reported that the campaign provided 391,510 services on the recent Friday alone.
The services were distributed across various healthcare sectors. The primary care sector delivered 33,833 services, while the therapeutic care sector accounted for 149,048 services. Additionally, 35,293 services were provided as part of presidential initiatives aimed at improving public health. The preventive medicine sector contributed with 7,043 services.
Furthermore, the General Authority for Hospitals and Educational Institutes facilitated 41,248 services. Mental Health Support Initiative offered 9,979 services, showcasing the campaign's comprehensive approach to health. The General Authority for Health Insurance's hospitals and clinics provided 7,607 services, and the Ambulance Authority was instrumental in delivering 4,333 emergency services.
