A Palestinian youth was shot and critically wounded by Israeli army gunfire west of Bethlehem, according to medical and security sources The Ministry of Health said a youth was brought in critical condition to the Arab Society Hospital in Bethlehem, with a bullet wound to the pelvis and shrapnel in the chest and stomach, and was immediately taken to the operating room. Security sources said the youth was shot when he was at the western entrance to the villages west of Bethlehem. The circumstances of the shooting were not yet clear.
