Wednesday marks 1st day of Rabi al-Thani – Dar al Iftaa

Egypt’s Dar al Iftaa said that onWednesday, October 26 will mark the first day of the Muslim holy month of Rabi al-Thani.


It said in a statement that teams of Dar al Iftaa’s Sharia and astronomical committees nationwide spotted the crescent moon of Rabi al-Thani, the fourth month on the Islamic lunar calendar this evening, which means that Tuesday is the last day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal and Wednesday is the first day of Rabi al-Thani.


Egypt’s Mufti Shawqi Allam greeted President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, the Egyptian people and Arab and Islamic nations on that occasion, hoping that security and stability will prevail in Egypt and all over the Arab and Muslim worlds.
