In a bid to promote Egypt’s tourism, Minister of Tourism Ahmed Issa met on Wednesday 18/1/2023 his Spanish counterpart Ms. Rosana Morillo on the sidelines of 43rd FITUR 2023 International Tourism Fair, which runs from January 18 to 22.
The meeting featured appearances by Mr. Amr Al-Qadi, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, Ambassador Youssef Makkawi, Egyptian Ambassador to Spain, and Professor Yemeni Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Technical Affairs.
During the meeting, they discussed the signing of a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries in the field of tourism.
The Egyptian Minister expressed his wishes for the success of the FITUR 2023 International Tourism Exhibition which aims to promote the LGBT customer segment and sports tourism.
He also invited Mrs. Rosana Morillo to visit Egypt to advance their technical cooperation and to figure out the national tourism and archaeological projects.
