The occupation arrests 25 citizens from the West Bank


Ramallah – Ma’an – From yesterday until Monday morning, the Israeli occupation forces arrested at least 25 citizens from the West Bank, including a girl, and former prisoners.

The Prisoners’ Club and the Prisoners’ and Ex-Prisoners’ Affairs Authority said in a joint statement that the arrests were concentrated in Tulkarm Governorate, while the rest of the arrests were distributed among the governorates of Ramallah, Al-Bireh, Jenin, Nablus, Tubas, and Jerusalem, accompanied by widespread abuse, severe beatings, and threats against detainees. and their families, in addition to the widespread sabotage and destruction of citizens’ homes.

The statement added that the total number of arrests after the seventh of last October rose to about (8,240), and this total includes those who were arrested from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.

He pointed out that the occupation continues to carry out the crime of enforced disa
ppearance against Gaza detainees 192 days after the aggression and genocide, as the occupation refuses to provide human rights institutions, including the competent international and Palestinian ones, with any information regarding their fate and places of detention to this day, including the martyred Gaza detainees.
